Who Are The Main Actors Married To Or Dating?

It has been 20 years since the release of the first Harry Potter movie, and the actors have all come a long way. A majority of the stars were children during filming, so now, all these years later, they are leading their own lives (whether that is dating, getting married, or just living life to the full). As well as the child actors, the adult stars of the films have had noteworthy relationships too.

Growing up in the limelight has led a lot of the Harry Potter stars to lead fairly quiet lives when it comes to romance. While rumors will forever follow them, these child stars and their older, more experienced co-stars, have managed to reveal only such details to their fans that they would like.

Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) | In A Relationship

Daniel Radcliffe was perfectly cast for his role as Harry Potter, but now he is all grown up and seemingly in love. He has been dating longtime girlfriend Erin Darke since they met in 2012 while they both worked on the film Kill Your Darlings. Since then, the two have been frequently seen together in public in both the US and UK.

Radcliffe doesn't have a social media presence, but he has been very open in interviews about his relationship with Darke. "She was incredibly funny and smart" he had said in an interview with Playboy, "I knew I was in trouble." Although the two haven't discussed whether they will get engaged, the two do appear to be quite happy together.

Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) | Unknown

Emma Watson's love life has been of great interest to the public since she was still in her teen years. However, Watson is fairly private about her relationships, often batting away questions about rumors and speculations.

This has led her most recent relationship with businessman Leo Robinton to be somewhat confusing. While PEOPLE did confirm the pair were still together in early 2021, the couple has made no public appearances since. It is unknown if they are still together.

Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) | In A Relationship

Rupert Grint is much softer spoken than his character Ron Weasley.  While he has appeared in mostly Indie films since Harry Potter, he will soon be appearing in the Apple TV show titled Servant.

Grint's brand new Instagram has very few posts, but the very first is the announcement of his daughter's birth with actress Georgia Groome. The two started dating in 2011, but have not yet tied the knot. Stylecaster explains that Rupert and Georgia have a lot in common, with Georgia landing her first roles as a young child and teenager.

Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) | Single

The sweet actor Tom Felton would definitely be in a different Hogwarts house than his character. He has a pretty regular social media presence, posting videos of himself playing guitar regularly on his Instagram. However, in the area of his love life, he very rarely shares.

Tom dated stunt assistant Jade Olivia Gordon from 2008 to 2016, but as far as fans can tell, he is currently single. There were many rumors that Felton was dating Emma Watson due to her confession of having a crush on him when they were children and the images that the two have shared together over the years. They certainly seem to have a close relationship, but the two describe it as being more "brother-sister" than romantic.

Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) | In A Relationship

Bonnie played Ginny Weasley, the girl that Harry Potter would ultimately end up marrying. In real life, however, Bonnie has been very private about her love life. She posts regularly on Instagram and has given followers some glimpses at her relationship with the mysterious Andrew.

Bonnie first posted a picture of Andrew on her Instagram in 2020 and has continued to post pictures of him snuggling with their pets since then. Fans have commented on the actress's posts, asking for Andrew's last name, but it seems they have chosen to keep that private. Regardless of how much the public knows about him, they make a very cute couple.

Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) | Married

Matthew Lewis had one of the best character arcs in the franchise, playing the iconic Neville Longbottom. Although he might have started out as a bit of a bumbling fool, Lewis did a great job in transforming Neville into a brave and strong wizard. Someone who wasn't afraid to step up when his friends needed him most.

Since his character had such a huge fanbase, it's not surprising that some want to know everything about the actor's personal life too. From what they have learned, Lewis is in a relationship with Angela Jones, who describes herself as a "sunshine soul" on Instagram. The couple frequently post pictures of their cute dogs, as well as pictures from their beautiful wedding in Italy in May 2018.

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) | Single

Evanna Lynch is one of the most popular student actors in Harry Potter and it seems she found love on the set in fellow actor Robbie Jarvis. Jarvis played a young James Potter in the Order of the Phoenix movie and while this is the only one of the films in which he appeared, he seemed to hit it off with the actress that portrayed Luna Lovegood.

According to the US Weekly, the two didn't go public until 2015. Unfortunately, they have since split but they both still remain friends (and Evanna frequently features Robbie on her Instagram).

Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas) | Unknown

Alfred Enoch is well known as Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter movies, but he has also found recognition as Wes Gibbins in How to Get Away With Murder. While he has kept his love life private, many fans were excited to think that he was dating costar Aja Naomi King, who was a frequent companion in his Instagram pictures.

Both actors have laughed off questions about their relationship, refusing to confirm nor deny. However, it isn't really necessary for them to do so, as Naomi King is married to Dan King, and the two announced the birth of their first child on her Instagram.

Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) | In A Relationship

The Harry Potter movies cast a lot of talented and well-known actors for their adult roles. One of these was actress Helena Bonham Carter, who is known for her role in The Crown, as well as a number of popular Tim Burton movies.

Bonham Carter famously dated Tim Burton for many years, although the couple did split up in 2014. While this breakup was sad for fans, the two have managed to remain friends and continue to co-parent their two children together. Now, Helena is dating Norwegian writer Rye Dag Holmboe, and was reported by Vogue to have described him as being "magic."

Maggie Smith (Professor Minerva McGonagall) | Single

Dame Maggie Smith is one of the greatest British actors of all time, but fans may not often give much thought to her love life.  In her 87 years of life, the Downton Abbey actress has known both love and loss.

According to PEOPLE, Smith was married to Robert Stephens from June 1967 to April 1975 when they divorced. In June of 1975, she married playwright Beverly Cross. The two were married for 23 years until Cross's death in 1998. In an interview with CBS News, Smith has said she has no interest in looking for another relationship.
