After a six year engagement, former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are finally married, and many Bachelor Nation stars attended.
After getting engaged six years ago on The Bachelorette, JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are married. JoJo, a 31-year-old real estate developer and Jordan, a 33-year-old former college and professional football player and sports commentator fell in love on the The Bachelor franchise show in 2016. They have been together ever since, and have been eagerly looking forward to the day when they would finally be married.
In August 2019, Jordan proposed to JoJo again with a new engagement ring. Although their first engagement on The Bachelorette was very important to them, they wanted to do it again privately, without the producers and cameras. They set a June 2020 wedding date, which was sadly postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their second wedding date in May 2021 was also postponed for the same reason. Now they have finally been able to fulfill their dream of getting married and beginning the next chapter of their lives together.
In an interview with People, JoJo and Jordan shared details about their wedding, which took place on May 14 in the presence of their families and close friends at the Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California. JoJo wore an Ines di Santo gown and exchanged personal vows with Jordan during the intimate ceremony. Following the ceremony, guests attended a black tie event, designed by Gianna SanFilippo and produced by Leila Lewis of Be Inspired PR. The guests enjoyed an elegant Italian outdoor dinner of pasta, steak, and fish. The guest list included JoJo and Jordan's Bachelor Nation friends, Becca Tilley, Raven Gates, and Adam Gottschalk. JoJo shared that she and Jordan, "wanted the vibe of our wedding to be traditional in a sense, but also playful and fun and unique. We've been planning for a long time, so we wanted it to be just right!"
The former Bachelorette lead gushed about her new husband, Jordan, saying, "It sounds cliché, but I really am marrying my best friend. Everything that's happened in our relationship has only made us stronger. And we just feel so lucky." She added that Jordan is "everything I've always looked for in a man." Jordan explained that as they planned for their two previous wedding dates, "We kept thinking the world would get back to normal but it didn't!" They revealed that they briefly considered eloping, but JoJo explained that they "realized that time had already been on our side and we decided to just ride it out so the day could be exactly what we wanted it to be." Although the couple had to wait two years for their wedding to finally happen, The Bachelorette season 12 star JoJo feels that it made it even sweeter. She shared, "It feels so good! It took a while to get here but it was all so worth it. We are FINALLY married!!! Can't wait to start this next chapter of our life together."
In the six years since they got engaged on The Bachelorette, JoJo and Jordan's love has continued to grow. Their wedding was one of the most anticipated in Bachelor Nation. The couple's relationship is another one of the show's biggest success stories. Professionally, their next step is hosting the new reality dating show, The Big D, in which a group of divorced couples will attempt to find love again while living with their exes.
