Han's time isn't over yet in the Fast & Furious franchise, but here's a breakdown of every major car that Sung Kang's character has driven so far.
Han emerged as a fan-favorite character in the Fast & Furious franchise, and he's driven some memorable cars throughout his various appearances. Originally stated as Han Lue, Sung Kang's character primarily went under the alias of Han Seoul-Oh in The Fast Saga. Following his franchise debut in 2006's The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Han served as a recurring figure in the series that followed Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Conner, and their loyal crew. And despite drifting away from street racing, the movies still incorporated a slew of fast cars.
Technically, Kang's character wasn't originated in Tokyo Drift even though it was the figure's first franchise appearance. The role was actually born in Justin Lin's 2002 movie, Better Luck Tomorrow. Rather than create a new character, Lin wrote Han into Tokyo Drift, which in turn, expanded to a multi-installment arc. Since Tokyo Drift's timeline was retconned, Kang was able to reprise his role for a short film and three future installments before tying back into Han's "death".
Though Han's time in the Fast & Furious is far from over, he has had a history of being one of the most skilled drivers in the franchise. Not only did he act as a mentor to Sean Boswell in Tokyo Drift, but he grew into one of the most reliable members of Dom's crew, and a lot of that had to do with his abilities behind the wheel. Here's every car Han has driven thus far.
1997 Mazda RX-7
Han's orange and black Mazda RX-7 FD served as a signature car featured in the Fast & Furious franchise. The sports car was Han's primary car while traveling throughout Tokyo. When Takashi confronted Han about stealing from his uncle, the latter fled and a car chase ensued. While escaping, Han's Mazda was T-boned, and the character was presumably killed when the vehicle exploded. Seeing as the event took place after Fast & Furious 6, the car was seen again in the movie's post-credits scene as well as archive footage in Furious 7.
2001 Nissan Silvia S-15 Spec-S
Aside from the Mazda, Han's other prized car in Tokyo Drift was a blue Nissan Silvia S-15 with an orange wraparound stripe. Twinkie nicknamed the car "Mona Lisa" due to its importance to Han and the drifting community. Despite how much Han cared for the Nissan, he allowed newcomer Sean to use it during his first race against the Drift King. Sean quickly destroyed the car after crashing into the garage's walls. Ahead of Sean's final big race at the end of the movie, Han's team used parts from the Nissan to repair Sean's Ford Mustang Fastback.
1967 Chevrolet C-10
Han ditched sports cars during Fast & Furious, and instead, he drove a custom orange Chevrolet C-Series pickup truck. The events of the 2009 film were set up in Los Bandoleros, which explained how Han joined Dom's crew. Before leaving for Tokyo, Han helped Dom and the team in hijacking fuel tankers in the Dominican Republic. While using the truck, Han was able to hitch the tanker to his vehicle. It was unknown what happened to the Chevy following the mission. The car used in the film, however, was auctioned on eBay where it sold for $32,500.
1971 Ford Maverick
Fast Five followed Dom, Brian, and the crew planning a heist to steal $100 million from a corrupt Brazilian businessman. When Han arrived in Rio de Janeiro to join the mission, he was shown driving an old rusty Ford Maverick muscle car. The car was presumably purchased so Han could drive around without attracting suspicion. He also used it to trail some of Hernan Reyes' men before the vehicle was seemingly abandoned.
2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sedan
While planning the heist in Fast Five, the crew was worried about avoiding the police security cameras outside of the Rio Police Station. Dom and Brian then acquired a bunch of cars from local street races that could potentially be fast enough to beat the cameras' movements around hairpin turns. The group, including Han, practiced avoiding cameras while using the 2011 silver Subaru Impreza. After Tego Leo crashed it, the vehicle was never seen again.
Dodge Charger Police Cruiser
When the group failed to find cars that could potentially avoid security cameras in Fast Five, Han decided that they needed "invisible" cars. To pull off the heist, the group broke into the police station and stole four Dodge Charger Police Cruisers. Dom, Brian, Roman, and Han drove the marked cars back to their hideout after facing off in a quick street race. The police cars helped the team successfully pull off the heist later in the film.
2011 Lexus LFA
Han's black Lexus LFA only made a brief appearance in Fast Five, but it was a memorable car. After the group pulled off the vault heist, they each got a hefty share of the earnings. The movie revealed what each character did with their money, including, Han, who bought a new sports car. Accompanied by Gisele Yashar, Han drove toward Berlin on a German highway. Despite being Han's new prized possession, the car was never seen in the franchise again.
2010 BMW M5 E60
Han and others were summoned to London at the start of Fast & Furious 6 to take down Owen Shaw in exchange for an expunged record. To get a leg up on Shaw and his team, Dom's group was given a fleet of BMW M5s. The BMW that Han drove eventually got destroyed by Shaw's group while driving around London. Dom's vehicle was the only one not to get totaled during the sequence.
2013 Harley Davidson XR 1200 X
For the first time in the franchise, Han picked a Harley Davidson over a car. When Shaw's crew attempted to assault a military convoy, Dom and his team attempted to interfere with the mission. Han used the motorcycle to race down the stretch of highway before he jumped onto a Land Rover driven by Shaw's team. Since the character ditched the bike, it was presumably destroyed.
2012 Dodge Charger SRT-8
Two matte grey Dodge Chargers were used in the climactic sequence that took place toward the end of Fast & Furious 6. While one was driven by Dom, the other featured Han behind the wheel. As the group tried to stop Shaw's cargo plane from taking off, Han chased it along the runway. Gisele used the harpoon equipped on the car to help weigh the plane down. After Gisele sacrificed herself to allow Han to finish his part of the mission, the character was able to safely avoid the exploding plane. Though shocked by Gisele's presumed death, Han's car was still in working condition.
2020 Toyota Supra
One of the biggest surprises stemming from F9's trailer was Han's return. Not only is he seemingly back from the dead, but Han will be rejoining Dom's crew with a beautiful new ride. Han's new signature car is a 2020 Toyota Supra that has an orange and black paint job that's similar to his beloved Mazda RX-7. The character will probably get behind the wheel of a few other cars, adding to his already impressive Fast & Furious vehicle history.
