The Vow of the Disciple raid has arrived in Destiny 2 with some of the best raid weapons ever, including the game's only other legendary Glaive.

How to Get Lubrae's Ruin in Destiny 2

The Vow of The Disciple Raid for Destiny 2 was finally released over the weekend, and it's chock-full of new weapons and armor for players to get their hands on. The weapons that can drop from Vow of The Disciples' encounters are easily some of the best new weapons in Destiny 2 and probably the best group of weapons from any raid. However, one of the rarest weapons from this raid is the 'Lubrae's Ruin' legendary glaive. Not only is this one of the coolest looking weapons in the game that comes straight from the clutches of Vow of the Disciple's final boss, Rhulk, but it is also the only other legendary glaive currently available in  Destiny 2.

Lubrae's Ruin can only drop from a single encounter in the Vow of the Disciple (VoD) raid. Since this is the only other legendary glaive in Destiny 2, it's sure to be a sought-after weapon. But, players will only have a chance of snagging this weapon after beating VoDs' final boss encounter. Unlike other weapons from this raid, like Destiny 2's 'Deliverance' Kinetic Fusion Rifle, Lubrae's Ruin can only drop one time during VoD as opposed to other weapon's chances of dropping two to three times. This weapon cannot technically be farmed; however, players can purchase rolls of this weapon from VoD's final chest after beating the boss for 'Spoils of Conquest,' which are earned from secret raid chests and raid encounter completions. For this weapon to drop from secret chests or be purchasable from the final raid chest, players will have to get lucky and have Lubrae's Ruin drop from the final raid encounter.

Compared to Destiny 2's only other legendary glaive, Lubrae's Ruin can roll with special glaive exclusive traits that its competition, the legendary 'Enigma' glaive, cannot. In addition, Lubrae's Ruin is also a solar glaive, which means it'll be extremely useful in Nightfall's/Lost Sectors with the Match Game modifier and Solar shielded enemies. In terms of glaive exclusive traits, this weapon can roll with a trait called 'Immovable Object,' which grants increased weapon energy while players are stationary with their shield raised upon enemy projectile impact. This means players can block incoming fire for as long as they want as long as they aren't moving.

The Lubrae's Ruin God Roll in Destiny 2

  • Glaive Haft- Lightweight Emitter.
  • Magazine-  Light Mag, Swap Mag, or Alloy Mag.
  • Trait 1-  Grave Robber or Immovable Object.
  • Trait 2- Vorpal Weapon, Swashbuckler, or Surrounded.

On top of already being a great weapon, Lubrae's Ruin is craftable using Destiny 2's new crafting system. The weapon will be unlocked at the crafting table after players extract the pattern of the weapon five times. Players will have to get lucky with drops of the weapon that have 'Deepsight Reconnaissance' in order to unlock it for weapon crafting. Luckily, it seems that one raid weapon a week with Deepsight Reconssance can be purchased at the raids final chest for 20 Spoils of Conquest.
